The county boundary file was created using the county Public Land Survey System section boundaries. Using the trace tool in ArcMap 8.3 the PLSS Sections were used to create the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of the county. There were no formal test performed on the data outside of a visual inspection. The data is as accurate as the PLSS files it was created from. To Calumet County's knowledge this boundary and attribute data is complete and accurate.
